ABOUT ME
After graduating university in May, I moved to Sierra Leone to start a social enterprise building greenhouses for smallholder farmers on a cost recovery basis. I was really living the dream, but because of safety issues and the current Ebola outbreak, I've been evacuated from the country.
I'm now on my way back to the United States, but I'm since I've nowhere in particular to be and no particular time to be there I'm taking my time to be adventuresome and recalibrate my passions.
PHILOSOPHY
Design your own game, keep the ball in your court, practice often, play to your strengths, and work on your weaknesses.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've hosted a few couch surfers while in university, and now I'm trying out surfing myself!
Interests
I'm learning to play the fiddle, practicing my Spanish, and trying to pick up French. I'd also like to learn how to cook great Indian and Thai food.
I'm a lover of cats, good beer, art, music, building, gardening, and storytelling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Rode on the back of a my best friend's bike under the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam at midnight. I wasn't good at balancing, but it really twinkled, and it was just starting to snow.
