Overview
About Me
I' m Katerina and I come from Greece. I studied Translation in Corfu and now I m doing my Master in Media Translation in Hildesheim.. I'm 24 years old. I' ve lived in Germany again in the past, for two semesters, and I speak English and German. I know how to introduce myself in Spanish, too. My ex roomate told me to write how smiley and pleasant I am and also how much I like helping people. :P (No, really I like helping people..)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think traveling should be easier, cheaper and more meaningful. That means people should not have to spend much money on accommodation abroad and also they should be able to meet local people more easily, to actually get to know the place they visit.. That is why I think, what couchsurfing does is very clever and helpful.
Interests
I like cooking, listening to music, singing, watching movies and of course traveling. Who doesn't? I also love irritating my friends.. Who doesn't? :P I also love riding my bike, Katmobil, but unfortunately, it will be a while until I see it again..

Music, Movies, and Books
I like many many many many kinds of Music and I' m always willing to listen to something new. Ok, I have some preferences, but that is irrelevant.. The same counts for Movies and Books.. I don't think there should be limits on these things, at least not based on genres, but on qualities.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've eaten 3 pita gyros from "Pita Bomba" in Corfu(NOT good food), without even being hungry. Ok, you have to have tasted pita gyros to understand that...but really..it's an accomplishment..
Teach, Learn, Share
I think good hosts adjust to their visitors, so I think I would show/teach(I don't know if that verb is the best one) different things to different people. Traditional dishes, my own language and local customs are always an option.. But I think you can have a really good time only, if you're based on giving, and receiving and having and sharing.. (I'm a fan of Friends..:P) Really, these things get figured out, when you actually meet the other people.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My house, first of all(my living room, kitchen and bathroom). And secondly, some of my everyday habbits, my good mood and my wonderful sense of humour...
