Hello everybody!
My name is Katerina and I am born and raised in Athens, Greece.
I recently completed my bachelor studies in AUEB and at the same time I am a part-time worker. I ve lived in Reykjavik and Hvolsvollur; in total 1 year in Iceland. I was there as an exchange (ERASMUS) student in RU and I have also worked there.
I am a pretty sociable person and contacting people from all over the world is one of my favorite things. That's also reason why I have many penfriends,too. Travelling, nature and sports are my life's passions. I escape everyday routine whenever possible...after all, life is short and we d better seize every single moment.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

International friends are one of the best things that have happened to me. I love them, because we can find a lot of mutual habits, interests, ideas and thoughts even we are brought up in different countries or even continents. We can also learn from each other about foreign cultures and even if I love reading books and studying about other cultures, no book could teach me better than the native people.
So, I recently joined Couchsurfing to get to know with the citizens of the places I am travelling and learn more about the place for its own people.
Besides that, couchsurfing is also a way of travelling that helps me to fulfill my desire to travel as much as possible, as I am a university student and my budget is not really high.

PS: I cannot host people that I haven't met before ,because I live in the same place with my mother and she is afraid to host people that I don't know personally. I am sorry for that guys.
