CURRENT MISSION
See the positive, be in the present, make people smile
ABOUT ME
I am a friendly and outgoing person. I love singing, writing, being outdoors, and reading books. I am passionate about different cultures and the natural environment around me.
PHILOSOPHY
The world is a beautiful place! If it seems otherwise, put things into perspective. Boredom is a lack of creative answers to life's challenges. If you're scared of spending time by yourself, you should spend more time in solitude
A person knows the difference between informed debate and argument is a good friend to have around.
There are many things to learn and I want to never stop learning. I live my life because there are always new things to try around the corner, friendships to kindle, and stories to share.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2010, I spent the summer in a remote village called Dmitrovo in northern Russia. One evening, a small group of local boys and I decided to go swimming in the lake.
They picked me up at midnight. We wove our way through the vines and brambles of an untended forest path until we ended up on the bank of a lake, standing at the foot of a narrow wooden pier. There was no moon that night; just a million trillion twinkling stars flung like jewels across the dark sky.
I remember diving into that warm, black mass of water and seeing the stars reflected to infinity in the lake's depths (right before my splash would shatter this mirage). It seemed like we were the only ones awake that night. Explorers of a universe that started and ended on the foot of the moonless bank. Every running jump into the water would be accompanied by howls and yelps (and wolf whistles, if it was an impressive jump).
And, separated by the miles of our upbringing, I felt as close as siblings to these boys as we dangled our feet above the water and felt sneaky at the late hour. It was an amazing night.
