Hi, my name is Katerina or simply Katya. I was born in St. Petersburg, however, I love to travel around the world and feel deeply happy about it. Nevertheless, I love my native city very much, at the moment I can't imagine myself to live my whole life in it, therefore I can't stop exploring the World and believe to find my place someday.

I love people and always happy to meet new friends. I believe we are (as people) are born not for a simple things, but for something special to do in the life. I love to help people and have opportunity to be able to do the things which will make positive changes in any field. I do believe that people are strong and could hold the world in a positive way.

For whole my life I am doing dance and sports. I used to dance ballet since I was 6, however, at 13 got injured and had to stop dancing. Having passion for moving and expressing myself I decided to continue with synchronized swimming. It was very hard as at 13 I didn't swim at all and had to start from the very beginning. However, after 3 years of just learning the technique I had opportunity to be placed in the team for performing routine. In total I had been doing synchronized swimming for 7 years, completing with a group and solo routine. When I was 20 I had to quit synchronized swimming because of the age (this is a young sport). This was very hard but happy time with a lot of barriers to overcome. At 21 I started to explore hip hop dance as a completely new direction for me. It was an amazing experience which gave me a lot for my life's vision as well as brought me very good friends with whom I am in contact untill now.

In my professional life I used to work for 8 years for a company as a head of purchasing department. However, at someday I realized I want to change my life completely and to be involved into the sport sphere. I was lucky to got a job on the Winter Olympic Games 2014 as the international dignitary programme manager (protocol department). Starting that day and until now I am working in the field of sport. My recent projects are FIFA World Cup 2018, Confederations Cup 2017, UEFA Europe League 2017-2018, Formula One Russian Grand Prix.

Also, I love to teach and had experience as a synchronized swimming teacher for children. I believe that someday I had opportunity to teach ballet and may be this become my future profession as I enjoy it a lot.

I live in a healthy style, don't smoke and drink (it could be not more than a glass of wine very rare with my family/friends). I don't eat meat, however, eat fish and never speak about this or tell anyone to do so as I think this is the personal choice of anyone, just only when someone ask me about it. In Russia I have big family with incredible parents, 2 brothers and 2 nieces.
