Cinema is my second love. Started as an actress, and now write and produce films as well (currently writing and producing a feature film in the psychological thriller genre). http://katerinakova.com for a snippet of that life. I model as well, if anyone is interested in doing a shoot. Nothing better than creative collaboration!

Always learning new things and expanding my skills. Most recently, I have begun learning horseback riding (English) and am amazed by its complexity and the exhilaration of mastering each successful riding lesson! You really have to stay calm even when things are dangerous or aren't going the way you want, as the horse picks up on all of your internal workings and responds in tandem - so true internal calmness is a must!

As far as personality goes, friends describe me as very social, fun, easy-going, adventurous, kind, considerate, and philosophical. I will 1000% respect your needs and space and am happy to work around you and your life!

I adore luxurious experiences as well as life's simple pleasures. From ballet and opera to enjoying a delicious cup of coffee or delightful conversation over a tasty meal/walk.

Eternally grateful for everything that life has to offer and love being able to share that with others!

Because it is THE BEST way to make new friends, share experiences, and get to understand the culture firsthand! (This has not changed in 10 years since I've written this statement).

Over my many many couch-surfing experiences, I have met the most wonderful people, and we created memories that will remain very dear to us for the rest of our lives. This has become a way of life for me, more than a cultural exchange, more than something simple that I can explain, but something that brings out the very best of humanity - kindness, generosity, knowledge, dialogue, culture, creativity, empathy, harmony, and unity.

"In 2012, I came to Australia to study for a semester. It was my first time travelling solo, and I had contacted some people on couchsurfing the night before leaving (I had some mishaps with my VISA), and they were happy to host me! I was supposed to stay for a few days but I fell in love with the people and moved in! What can I say, thanks to them I had the best 5 months of my life!

Shortly after, I had made many new friends in New Zealand through couchsurfing, which really helped me feel at ease with backpacking solo.

I am so very grateful and amazed by people who open up their homes to me, and other travelers, and it really restores my faith in humanity!"

Currently into tennis, horseback riding, learning about world finance, stunts and martial arts training for film and tv, finding beautiful and ethical clothing brands that use natural materials (updating my personal style - love timeless elegant style/fashion), expanding my artistry, creating in all its forms (acting, writing, producing, painting, being), and evolving!

Music: currently loving electro swing and funky disco!

Books: discovered Natasha Lester's books recently and am devouring them! "The Paris Secret," "The Three Lives of Alix St.Pierre"... her worlds are so immersive and her writing style is so captivating! Genre of historical fiction, highly recommend! Also just finished "The Ascent of Money" by Niall Ferguson and it was so informative and intriguing! Basically, a historical walk-through of how money came to be and what all of the systems mean. Beautifully-written, and a terrific way to gain a deeper understanding of the economic system that makes our world go 'round!

Movies: too many to list! Favs are The Matrix, The Fifth Element, The Lion King, and Balto.
