Hi! My name is Kateryna (my Ukrainian friends call me Katya, American ones call me Kate). I’m 21 and I am from Ukraine.

Last 4 years I spent studying International business and diplomacy in Warsaw, Poland. Now I’m back to Ukraine to figure out what to do next.

Before Poland I’ve spent a year as an exchange student in the US. And traveling with my host family and friends around the US was the best part of it (for sure!).

I’m trying as hard as I can to explore the world. Up to this moment (may 2018) I’ve visited 8 countries and there are way more journeys ahead of me!

I usually travel with my boyfriend Dima. He is very funny, talkative and kind.

My main hobby is learning foreign languages. I’ve already learned English, German, Spanish, Polish. I’m a native speaker of Russian, Ukrainian.

I haven’t had any Couchsurfing (platform) experience, but of course I’ve hosted guests and I’ve been hosted by friends in different countries.

My travel motto is: You can’t buy happiness, but you can buy a plane ticket and that’s kind of the same thing.
