Hi! My name is Kateryna. I'm from Ukraine but have been living in Barcelona for the past 6 years.
I've recently graduated in Communication and Culture Industries (University of Barcelona) and Classical Piano (Conservatori de Liceu).

I'm really into contemporary art and classical music. I also enjoy meeting new people and discovering our beautiful Earth.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because you all are great people. But, lately I notice the community is becoming more mainstream. It's not a free hotel, and it's not a way to pick up girls.

兴趣

I think that two big groups of my interests are art and life. If you can tell me the difference between them- I'll be glad to hear!
I like long conversations. I want to know more than what a person does for a living. I want to know what you like about your city, what are you dreaming of and why haven't you still made your dream come true. I like people with different vision of this world; people thirsty to live, that have a special light inside them which makes everything around brighter.

音乐、电影和书籍

Lately I've been reading to Kerouac. I read it, then I reread it, then I become wiser and read it again. I open "Shantaram" on a random page and start reading. Kafka and Camus when I'm sad. Wittgenstein and Benjamin when I need brain-food. I love this man. And Benjamin. Fowles, Nabokov, Orwell, Wilde, Burgess. I like Russian and Ukrainian poetry.

Iñárritu is a genius. As Lars Von trier. Tarantino and Guy Ritchie, obviously. And I like movies with Brad Pitt because this man knows how to choose a great movie. Still, he's not my fav actor.

Radiohead is love. I have a vinyl player and I swear it's the only time when money brought me happiness. Classical music! Please, if you think that Classical music is boring, give me a chance to prove you the opposite!
