About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To climb da highest mountains and snowboard off em! Rawwr!!!!

ABOUT ME

I grew up in Ca, and after graduating from college I worked as a volunteer in a women's organization in San Cristobal de las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico. When I got back to the states, completely culture shocked I found a job leading camping tours across the country for a few years. I have settled down a bit (sort of) in that I now live in one place and have a job that may parents consider a "real job." I climb (rocks and mountains), snowboard and generally try to adventure as much as I can on the weekends, and take epic trips away from work as often as they'll let me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't personally surfed yet. I've tried a coupla times, but I operate too last minute!

I've hosted a few times, but was living in the tiniest studio known to man. Pretty cramped. Will probably convince the new roomies shortly to start hosting!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Half of my heart is somewhere on a mountain, the other half is in Mexico, I loved it there. Speaking the language definitely helped. South East Asia was beautiful, but I definitely felt my limitations in finding a connection with the place and the people by not speaking the language. Learning to scuba dive was one of the most incredible experiences I ever had-there's a whole world down there that you could never imagine!

Countries I’ve Visited

Cambodia, Canada, France, Germany, Guatemala, Italy, Laos, Mexico, Spain, Thailand, United Kingdom
