About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My life goal is to visit every country in the world. My short-term goal is to hit all 7 continents. Wish I could've hit Antartica while I was living in Chile...
ABOUT ME
Like most people on this site, I love to travel. I also love to learn, preferably by doing. I tend to be quiet and calm, but also enjoy going out and having a good time. I'm very honest, and can make the best out of every situation. I love animals and I am great with kids. I enjoy reading, cooking, running (although I'm not very fast), and volunteering. I love stand up comedy, but not nightclubs. If a genie granted me three wishes, one of them would be to be able to speak and understand every language in the world.
PHILOSOPHY
Live and let live. Learn by doing. Treat others how you want to be treated. All the classics our parents taught us growing up...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to share my experiences and meet new people. When couchsurfing, you get a much more authentic experience of the places you visit. And when you host, you get to give back to people with the same values and love of travel!
Interests
I love experiencing new cultures, religions, cuisines, languages, etc. I'm not generally a beach person, but I love exploring anything and everything! The more adventurous, the better!

Music, Movies, and Books
I like a little bit of everything.
Movies - I like action, drama, and comedy the best. Some of my favorites include Maverick, Oceans 11, 12, and 13, Moulin Rouge, Bad Boys, etc.
Music - I have some of everything in my playlist, but my favorites are country, classic rock, and punk. I don't like electronica, techno, or heavy metal.
Books - I love to read and enjoy the classics, mysteries, dramas, suspense, and even some fantasy.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Machu Picchu was the most amazing experience of my life, but I've found beauty in every trip I've taken - sitting on the Malecon in Havana, Cuba, zip-lining through the clouds in Costa Rica, Sailing on a felucca on the Nile in Cairo, Egypt, attending a Candomble ceremony in Salvadore, Brazil. I've had so many amazing experiences... and I look forward to adding to the list.
Teach, Learn, Share
One of my biggest fears in couchsurfing is showing up halfway across the world and being stranded with no place to stay. I would very much appreciate hearing anyone's experiences and how you conquered this fear!
