I'm a fun and outgoing person, who is willing to try almost anything once and loves adventures. I can also spend an entire day in my pjs reading/playing video games if the mood strikes. I volunteer a lot with youth, and eventually want to get my masters in counciling and help at risk adolescence. I think traveling to another country should be a requirement, and believe strongly in kindness and leaving places and people better off then when you found them.

I'm currently backpacking Europe with my friend Hillary for 3 months. Would love to meet new people, be it someone who can host us, or just show us around their city :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people in the countries I'm visiting, and to get more of an authentic experience, not just the tourist one. To make friends, and hopefully save a bit of money while doing it.

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

I'll read almost anything, as long as it is written well, but prefer fantasy and scifi. I'll watch anything with a decent plot, though I'm not a big fan of horror movies. I love music, especially live. Be it at a huge stage at a music festival, or a small local group at a pub.

Went to Kenya, Africa with a non religious charity group to help build a school.

I've had many experiences in my 26 years, and will be happy to share stories and whatever life experiences I have. I'm also a decent cook, and can bake some mean cookies and cupcakes.
