About Me
CURRENT MISSION
It doesn't matter who I am. I just want to talk with you.
ABOUT ME
I am a recent graduate of UNC Chapel Hill studying Health Policy and Management in the Gillings School of Global Public Health. I'm currently living and working in Phoenix, Arizona concentrating on projects related to public health and the built environment. I really like people. I also really like to do new things. So doing new things with people is my favorite. I have this weird way of talking that my friends have named 'katey mote speak.' It has slight Russian influences and it tends to be pretty contagious. Fair warning. I am also generally pretty happy. All the time. Like, all the time. It's weird but also kinda fun.
I want to be your friend.
PHILOSOPHY
This is what you shall do: be loyal to what you love, be true to the earth, and fight your enemies with passion and laughter.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I surfed with a friend in Germany while on our way to Moldova in 2009. Our host was amazing and gave a great tour of Frankfurt while also introducing us to his friends. I also went to Ireland for a week in August 2011 with four other friends and we surfed every night.
I hosted a few people at my house in Chapel Hill, NC and I've gotten coffee and hung out with others when I couldn't host them.
It's just such a great way to meet local people and experience new things!
