i like when things make sense. For example: In the beginning of the 20th century, russian guest workers in france had only a short time for their lunch break. So when they bought something to eat they would yell "bistra, bistra", which in russian means "fast, fast". However the french cooks didn't know that and that is why bistros are called bistros today.
