Overview
About Me
I'm a Political Science and Law student in my second year of unversity. After spending three months at my second home - South Africa - I started volunteering in Gdańsk at the Polish Baltic Sea. Now I'm back home in Germany, missing my gap year but enjoying my eco-hipsterish life as a student "in Münster".
Brackets because I'm always on the move and I don't tend to spend too much time at one place. I basically live in trains and Blabla cars.
I'm a really curious and talkative human being who's passionate about travelling, photography and my good ol' Canon 700d, the environment, animals in general but especially African wildlife and dogs, human rights and feminism, global politics, alternative education, food❤(especially pizza - as long as it's vegan), contemporary dance, theatre, poetry and spoken word.
I try to live as environmentally friendly as possible and I'm a Greenpeace volunteer since 2014.
Some more random things I'm really into are dachshunds, ice cream, tulips and mismatched socks. I don't know why, but I think they rock.
I love being outside and doing outdoor sports like cross country running, kayaking, hiking, climbing and biking, though I'm actually very bad at sports in general so I usually end up embarrassing myself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting and talking to people from all around the world and sharing my view on certain topics with them. And I love hearing their opinion and stories just as well.
It might sound pathetic but intercultural exchange is probably the most important reason why I'm on CS.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love Rock, Pop and Indie Music like Florence + the Machine, Hozier, Kaleo, London Grammar, Coldplay, Bastille, Dodie, Daughter, Foster The People, Jack Johnson, Tom Rosenthal, OneRepublic, Snow Patrol, Kodaline, Parov Stelar, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Matthew Mole, Mumford and sons, Ingrid Michealson, Birdy, Ben Howard, Angus and Julia Stone, the 1975 and several German artists.
To calm down and relax, I like to go on long walks listening to cinematic soundtracks, Jazz and Classical music .
I enjoy singing a lot, though I'm not particularly good at it. If you can play an instrument or you love singing as well, I'm totally up for some jamming. :)
Reading and creative writing is very important to me and I love love love poetry and Spoken Word.
As for books, I'm quite a picky reader. I love German and English classics and different dramas like The Great Gatsby, 1984, The picture of Dorian Gray, The book thief, Carol, All the light we cannot see and books by Hesse, Dürrenmatt and Kafka (though most of my friends don't like them at all 😅).
If you have recommendations for cozy bookstores in you town, just let me know!
I LOVE going to the cinema. My favorite movies are Amélie, Good Will Hunting, The curious case of Benjamin button, Extremely loud and incredibly close, Dead Poets Society, the Secret Life of Bees, Finding Nemo and Ginger & Rosa.
