ABOUT ME

Hi.
My name is Katharina, I am 29 years old and come from Germany.
I live in Cologne and love this city from the bottom of my heart.
I work in international youth work, have studied in an international group during my Master's, have lived in several countries after school and during my studies. I have travelled quite a bit and have had good experiences with CS as well as with HelpX. Staying with locals is just the best way to see a place!

It's a dangerous business going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off to...

At the moment my way of living doesn't allow me to host people at my place. Hopefully again in the future...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first CS trip in Ireland (I traveled with my best friend) was absolutlely amazing. I loved it and I would never have expected it to be such good fun. I also hosted a couple of people at my old place and always enjoyed getting to know these people and to show them around.

Interests

I enjoy reading, yoga, rockclimbing, watching good movies, cooking, going out (bars, movies, poetry slams, …), being outdoors, spending time with friends and family, getting to know new places, people and languages

Teach, Learn, Share

Since I used to be a language student, I'd love to learn more languages and to improve my skills in those I already speak and to share my mother language with people who are interested in learning it.
