Hello, I'm Katharina, 22 years old and currently studying mechanical engineering in Aachen, Germany. After my Abitur I did an International Youth Voluntary Service in France. There I got the chance to explore another country with new people, language and landscapes. An amazing experience! Now I'm even more courious about all the other people and countries in our world. After my voluntary service I started studying mechanical engineering and I am doing so since three years now. At my university I am involved in the European students' forum AEGEE and organizing exchanges and conferences for young Europeans. In January 2019 I will be going to Marseille for one semester.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2015 I visited Munich, Ljubljana, Bratislava and Vienna on a trip by using every possible way of transport and lots of different lodgings. I discovered these beautiful towns by train, bus, by feet, by hitchhiking, by boat and had a great time down there experiencing a lot of different ways of travelling and getting to know new people.
