Hi :)
my name is Katharina. I was born and raised in Lindau, Germany. l lived in the same little town for 18 years and then decided to pack my bags and move to the states for 13 months. Then I started to study Education back in Germany and went so do a semester abroad in Finland. A bit more to me as a person. I love being outside, whether it is hiking or sailing or something else. And in general I would describe myself as a active person but I am very calm and patient and don’t freak out over every small thing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

All my life I remember loving traveling and the last few years I started to step up and travel without my family. I went to places like London, Baltimore and even Tianjin and Beijing in China. In all those places, I stayed in host families to not only get to know the place better, but also the culture. I can integrate myself very well and quick into a new family and a team. I want to see as many places and get to know many different cultures of the world as possible. But the moment I first heard about Couchsurfing, I knew that this is the right thing for me. It combines two things that I love. Travelling and getting to know a new culture. I am really looking forward to this new experience and getting to know many new people.

Haha totally stereotype in this section, but I love the music that is on the radio :D So I guess pop. For movies I am open for everything but horror movies. I Mean it is in the name. Horror - uargh haha

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One year as an au-Pair in the US and my semester abroad in Finnland! And of course this new adventure of mine - backpacking south east Asia !!
