Hey :D
I'm Katharina (or more often just Kascha :)) and discovering new places and meeting new people is my personal reason to live (besides dogs). I'm originally from the city of Dresden, Germany, but have been living in Fribourg, Switzerland, for a year now for my studies in Psychology . Unfortunately I can't host anyone here since I'm living in a student's dorm in which it is forbidden to let other people sleep in your room :(
But once I'll be living in a shared flat, I'll try to compensate my couchsurfing karma, promised :D

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Because the concept is great (I mean meeting locals, hearing their stories and discovering their culture through them, how cool is that??) and because I don't have the money to buy a caravan :D

Música, películas y libros

I love English indie-rock, German Indie-Pop, Russian Rock and French Rap (ok, I only listen to Odezenne, but still).
I'm not that much into movies but I enjoyed "Das schweigende Klassenzimmer" (based on a true story in former East Germany) and Narnia ;)
Oh and there are way too many great books on this planet: for example "Die Stadt der träumenden Bücher", "Dans le Café de la Jeunesse Perdue", "The Things They Carried", "Stupeur et Tremblements", "All the Light we cannot see", "Fabian - die Geschichte eines Moralisten" and at least a hundred others.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Last summer (2023), I went hiking on the West Highland Way in Scotland with my sister, that was pretty dope :D
And this summer (2024), I travelled through East Europe with my friend Elena, often using Couchsurfing, it was an incredible experience!

I always love learning languages - if you wanna improve your German, I'll be glad to help! Depending on your skills I'd also love to improve your or my (or both) vegetarian cooking skills :D

Various skills in case you are interested in one of them :) But in any case, I hope we already share the love for a similar lifestyle, for adventures, for special places on this planet and for special people (I admit that's pretty subjective ;))
