Overview
About Me
we are two sisters from the south/ Alps of Germany currently living in Freiburg. In one month we are going to start a cycling trip from Freiburg to Portugal.
Sarah studied primary school teaching and Katha studied environmental engineering. At the moment Katha is working in a little company that installs solar panels. Sarah is working as a school "campanion" for a boy with autism.
Just to name a few interests:
we both like being to new places, being with new people, talking, sharing opinions, experiences, world views, drinking beer or wine (but nothing that determines our everyday life :D ), seeing the beauty of the nature, smiling people and outdoor sports. Especially since last year yoga became a new daily routine for both of us and Sarah really enjoys road cycling all around Freiburg. Katha likes doing art, such as drawing or pottery. She also created a beautiful garden with a lot of vegetables and flowers on her balcony last year.
And we don't like watching television. ;)
We always look for alternative travelling (hitch hiking, cycling, Interrail, couchsurfing) because we want to get in touch with new people and we do not need to have a fixed plan, but are happy to accept spontaneous ideas and tips.

improving music skills (guitar, ukulele, kalimba), learning new languages, learning new skills in general :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
we can share our skills in vegetarian/ vegan cooking, help with any work at home or outside, because we both really enjoy manual work (gardening, sewing (Sarah), knitting (Katha), painting, creating...).
