I am Katharina from Germany and I am 23 years old. I would describe myself as open-minded, friendly and adaptable. I study matematics, love to go rock climbing and hang up with friends, but while doing all this stuff i am secretly planning my next adventure abroad! To satisfy my fernweh i also love learning languages, sending postcards and reading books about traveling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It is just a great opportunity to learn more about the culture, lifestyle and living conditions of other people. Unfortunately I have not had the opportunity to "couchsurf" but I hope to have it soon and to learn more about you and your life!

~ Exchange year in Chile and Backpacking in Atacama desert
~ Studying mathematics after changing course of studies three times
~ Moving into the room of a complete strenger spontaneously because I did not find a new appartment fast enough
(~ finally finding an appartment :D )
~ working as a professional mathematics theacher for half an year
~ fleeing into desert to finish my bachelor thesis there and staying with bedouins for two months
