I'm currently living in Bielefeld, where I'm studying to become a teacher. My subjects are English and Maths. I'm very much looking forward to teaching children, although I also enjoy my student life at the moment.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I have not had the chance to do couchsurfing before, but I think it is a great chance to get to know people and the culture of the country you are traveling. At the moment I'm traveling through the US with my friend Miriam and since it's my first time on this continent, I would like to learn as much as possible about "the American way of life".

Centres d'intérêt

I like spending time and doing stuff with friends. No matter what you do, it's twice the fun if you have someone to share it with :) I love traveling and seeing and learning new things. Luckily, as a student I have the chance to do that quite a bit at the moment. I also like cooking and even more so baking (probably because I have sweet tooth and can hardly resist a cake or cookie... ). My favorite sport is probably step aerobic, but I also like running as I enjoy the fresh air and being outside.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I mostly listen to pop music and to what's in the charts at the moment. My favorite movie is "The Choir", which is about a teacher who starts at a school for 'troubled' boys and greatly improves their lives by emphasising with them and supporting them (this choice is probably an obvious one as a teacher to be... ;))
My favorite books are the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. As I'm studying English, I was lucky enough to even write a term paper about it, which was fun!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

After finishing school, I spent one year as an au pair, living in a host family in England. It was very exciting, as it was my first time being abroad alone, but it was such a good thing I did it! It was then when I discovered how much I like traveling and this stay was also the main reason for choosing to study English later on.

Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes

I can definitely share some recipes, for example I can make very yummy crêpes and potato pancakes :) Also if there's anything you want to know about Germany and its culture, I should know loads about that ;)
I would also offer to help with Maths, but that's probably not desired ;))
