About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to settle in Hanover

ABOUT ME

I enjoy good company as well as being on my own.

PHILOSOPHY

life is unpredictable - so I'll better stop trying to control and just go with the flow

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to meet new people through couchsurfing. Until now I have mainly surfed couches, but as soon as I'll have the possibility, I would be happy to host as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I only had great experiences surfing couches in North and Central America. As I was traveling most of the time with Dirk Redent, you can look up his profile for further references.

Interests

travelling the world, salsa-dancing, playing music, having good and long talks with friends, hitch-hiking, languages, different religions and philosohies, ayurveda, meditation, reading novels, good food, cooking, wine and coffee

Music, Movies, and Books

Hard to pick ONE favourite, but some of the latest movies I enjoyed: Bajirao Mastani, The Martian, James Bond, ...
The kind of music I am listening to depends on my mood and the situation. I am also always happy to be introduced to something new. What I definitely like - being part of my hobbies - is classical music and salsa.
I used to read a lot, but did not have much time since my studies. My favourite book I read in the past few months is "White Tiger", giving brilliant insight into Indian society.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitch-Hiking across Canada.

Surviving the Death Road in Boliva.

Trekking the Annapurna-Circuit in the Himalayas.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to share some (travel) stories and can offer to teach German or basics of other languages I learned. I also like to cook and bake, which is even more fun, if one can share the results with others :-).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to share and exchange stories, insights and experiences. I can also offer to teach some language skills and basic salsa steps :-). I also like to cook and bake and am willing to share this as well :-).

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Bolivia, Cambodia, Cuba, France, Hungary, Iceland, Paraguay, Sweden, Thailand, United States
