My name is Kathi and I'm 22 years old. I study media production in Lemgo, a small town in the middle of Germany and some day I want to travel the world ;)
For over a year I lived in Munich where I did some internships before I started to study.
Now I live with five other students I didn't know before in a house and I love that my shared house is not a place where I live but a home with a second family. We care deeply for each other, cook together (okay, I have to admit that I mostly cut vegetables and do the cleaning after, because I'm not that great at cooking :D), watch movies, have great chats, go to nice cafés and even visit some farther cities together. I love that I'm always surrounded by people and looking forward to being surrounded by new people in a new city.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

"When in Rome, do as the Romans' do" - I think there is no better way to get to know a city other than through its local people. I want to explore new places, meet new friends and just enjoy life.
I've been hosted by two lovely guys in Amsterdam before and it was an amazing experience. They were so friendly and open minded and that's what I love about couchsurfing. Nowhere else the saying "A stranger is just a friend you haven't met yet" is more accurate.
