ABOUT ME

Being 19 years old and just having finished school I feel rather young and green, to be honest. So what else is there to do than grabbing my things and see the world?
I am curious, motivated, easy to talk to and open-hearted. I love having a cup of tea (or two, or three...) alone with a good book at hand or with anyone who'd like to join me, talking about everything that comes to mind. Depending on the time of day, I'd also welcome fellow wine enthusiasts.
I've always been a huge football fan but I can get stuck into every kind of sport from Snooker to Triathlon. I love running and cycling. Unfortunately I would not consider myself to be very creative but I do have a certain talent when it comes to baking which is usually well received by most of my friends and family.
Leaving the house without my IPod is an absolute No-Go. Music is one of the many great things that make life worth living. Waking up to Penny Lane or Gimme Shelter is always a promising start into a new day.
I love laughing until every part of my body hurts and I can't breathe anymore. What I love even more is finding people who share my sense of humour even though it is the tiniest bit weird and sometimes a little dodgy...but hey! Nobody's perfect! :P
I am eager to meet people to have fun, to exchange views, to enjoy whatever there is to enjoy, to talk or even to keep silent for a while.

PHILOSOPHY

Little by little.

Whatever you do, start with one step. Then another. And another. And one day, before you know it, you've reached your destination. And the most amazing thing is: you will realize that what gave you the most confidence and strength of all was the way to get there.

I have a very broad taste in each of the three.
Tarantino and Burton, Marvel, LoTR, Star Wars, The Prestige, Butterfly Effect, Sleepy Hollow,...
Disney films have been a huge joy in my childhood. Tell you what, they still are!
Generally every movie with an interesting, enthralling plot, and the ones with great villains!

Music is easy: Kasabian, Beatles, Oasis, Rolling Stones, The La's, Rise Against, Arctic Monkeys, The Libertines,.. I could go on for ages..

Big book series are always great because it doens't stop after a few hundred pages and you can stick to the characters that you've grown to love (or hate) for a long time! Harry Potter for example or Game of Thrones. My all time favorites: Peter Pan, Tom Sawyer and Hamlet

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love someone to teach me how to knit. So that I can knit scarfs and hats and gloves for my grandchildren one day..I'm not sure if this is what's supposed to be written in this box but anyway...
I think I might have a knack for encouraging others to do things they are not sure of being able to accomplish.Showing them their strenghts and giving them confidence.
