I'm Katharina from Germany and just started my studies. Last year I lived in the United States for a year and now I can't stop exploring the world. I want to travel as much as possible to experience different cultures and meet locals.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Unfortunately I can't host Couchsurfers as I live in a tiny apartment, but I would be happy to show people around the city, even though I just moved here a couple weeks ago, but we could explore it together ;)
I didn't couch surf yet too 'cause I traveled a lot with my family before. But now as I'll travel more by myself it's such a good chance to meet locals and get a deeper cultural experience.

Interests

I love to cook and bake. It's like meditation for me :) And I like to go to farmer's markets, art fairs or just sit in cafes or wander through the streets of an interesting neighborhood. I also like art galleries and museums.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking in the Grand Canyon. To see the beautiful nature and landscape in Arizona is just breathtaking. Some friends and I went to waterfalls in the western part of the canyon and hiked back up in the early morning. It was the most interesting experience I had on the whole trip.
