Originally from Germany, but have been living abroad (including in Japan, Belgium and the US) for the past 8 years. Currently, I live in South Sudan working for the UN peacekeeping mission, so I am not able to host (we live in a closed compound - but also, not many travelers in South Sudan ;)). I love traveling, learning about other cultures and meeting people from all over the world, so I have used Couchsurfing quite a bit throughout the years. Looking forward to many more trips!

Until now I only surfed and enjoyed making new friends and visiting new places.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed a few times in Germany, the USA, Indonesia, Peru, Taiwan, South Korea and Sudan, met reeeaaally nice people there and had some great conversations. So, I would love to surf again and also host once my living situation permits! :)

Books: mostly political and historical stuff. Occasional classic fiction, currently having a soft spot for dystopia.

Music: I love Heavy Metal and have a big CD collection. But don't be afraid, you don't have to listen to it with me - unless you want to ;)
