HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been couchsurfing successfully in China for three weeks and now would love to meet people in Costa Rica, where I am going be from September till October 2014 :))

My home couch is very cosy and often friends from university stay over when they realise that we have been talking all night long again and it's to late to drive home :D

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My journey through China went from Shanghai to Guilin, then Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Kunming and Jiayuguan. There I went to Jiuquan and Dunhuang and via Lanzhou to Beijing and back to Shanghai. All the time I had the chance to share stunning experiences with hosts and other couchsufers x3 If you want to hear some crazy stories about that, just ask :D

I often host people at home, too. At the moment I'm having exams, so I can't guarantee I'll have time for you, but at least even if I'm not able to host I'd like to show you my beautiful home city Dresden for a few hours :-)

[edit] Even though there are some islamophobic pegidists around here at the moment (those people are so stupid it hurts :(( ) please don't be afraid to come here. It's still beautiful and as long as you are with a local like me who knows the safe places nothing will happen. I'm feeling so sorry... :-( But believe me, most of the people are very friendly and not that f***ing racist!! If you need any kind of help, please ask.

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

Well, to tell the truth, I almost only listen to that mainstream music on the radio... But I prefer songs with real instruments like violin or piano. And of course anything you can dance to ;-)

I don't really watch movies, only sometimes some political satire on TV.
But I love reading! Mostly about ships, but also biographies, some classic novels or sociology stuff... Take a look at my bookshelf - if you want you can also borrow, as most of them are second-hand already anyway :-P (so it doesn't matter too much if they get a little more of that carry around look)
