ABOUT ME

I love travelling - whether it's a quick weekend trip to a European city or exploring all of Thailand for a full month. There are so many more places in the world I wanna see and I believe you can't truly experience a new culture without getting in touch with the locals. So screw hotels lol. Instead of staying on the beaten tourist paths, I'd always prefer wandering around a random neighborhood and just breathing in that specific feel of a place.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couchsurfing is an amazing idea, because it connects you with people you would have never met otherwise and gives you insights no tour guide in the world can offer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I learned about couchsurfing about 3 years ago and since then had the pleasure of staying with some amazing hosts, mostly across the US.
When I met my couchsurfing-crazy boyfriend (over several corners actually through couchsurfing), I also got the experience of hosting surfers and had a couple people at my place in Germany so far.
I am amazed by how quickly you are able to connect with people and what a huge influence you can be on their whole trip.

Survived a three day tracking tour through the Thai jungle including the attack of mean ground leeches...
