About Me
*Right now I'm travelling so I cannot host, I'm sorry*
My name is Katherin but everyone calls me Katty or Kate (depends on the language you speak), so you are welcome to do so. I studied Communication in Lima, Peru. But I graduated in 2017 and decided to go for a long adventure. I think I'm just not meant to be in one place.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I find it a great way to engage with the place's culture (therefore the language). You get to meet people and explore the city with different eyes. I think this is one way to become a true traveller... I have a passion for languages and travel. After a few successful experiences in CS I can say this is the best way to see the world
Interests
I enjoy travelling more than anything in this world. Oh! Besides napping of course! But when I travel I don't nap at all haha. One of my other passions is theater, I would much rather go to see a play than to go dancing. I'm keen on getting to know people, visiting places, making memories and learning new languages.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy all types of music. One moment I could be listening to classical music and the other dancing to some 70's hit. When it comes to movies I'm not much of a critic (weird, since I study communication and we are taught to analyze movies) I just like flowing with the plot and enjoying the special effects. Btw I love action movies. I think they are the most entertaining. But I could also crave a romantic comedy once in a while. Bonus fact: I love Bollywood movies and I would love to be a Bollywood actress!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Finding nothing but kindness during my time surfing with palestian people
Watch the sunrise from Park Güell in Barcelona. No tourist around just me and the beautiful sunrise
Floating on the Dead Sea and stupidly putting my tongue in the water
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to learn a fourth language, but I just haven't found the time to do so. And I figured it is easier to learn if you are surrounded by the culture and people who speak that language. That's how I got to perfectly understand French (I studied for 3 years but never really got to be a fluent speaker). So I decide to go to France for a few months to master the language.
I come from a culturally rich part of the world: South America. Oh man! I could tell you lots of stuff about my people and my culture. I have traveled around as well so I can share tips and insights on the places I've visited. Especially if they are within South America.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Lots of stories and experiences. My company, if desired, and forever lasting gratitude if you decide to host me. Sorry, I suck at cooking [single tear drop falls down my cheek] I know surfers and hosts alike love the cooking together part of the Couchsurfing experience. I, however, try making breakfast for my surfers but it's very basic and simple 😂
