My name is Katherine and I live in Seattle, WA (but am originally from Houston, TX). After college, I went on a whirlwind backpacking trip along the west coast for a month and decided to uproot my life. During that time I discovered couchsurfing because I was fresh out of college and balling on a budget. What started as a way to save money, turned into a way of meeting and making life long friends across the US. I love traveling to new cities, staying with locals, trying out the hole in the wall restaurants, and doing the things that aren't listed on trip advisor. I love hiking, the outdoors, and taking spontaneous road trips when I can. If you're ever in Seattle, come stay with me! :)

I want to meet as many people as I can and hear your story. I want to do the things the locals do and spending the night alone in a hotel room sounds awful to me.
