Hello, I'm Kat! I'm just a goofy person that loves meeting people. I'm pretty laid back and tend to go with the flow. I try to find value in every experience which leads me to have a rather optimistic view of life. I love exploring and my friends would describe me as funny, outgoing and independent.
I'm an ABC so I'm not quite Chinese but also not quite the generic American or Texan either. I guess I'm stuck somewhere in-between. Asian Americans truly made their own culture within the States!
I'm not quite sure what to put on here but my philosophy is that you'll never know unless you try (cliche I know lol). Life is a learning experience, and the best way to learn is to fail. But you always gotta get back up (the cliches don't stop do they hahahaha but what's the harm in that).
I tend to find myself looking up to those who are well traveled and interesting and hope to become that one day as well. I hope you will give me the chance to get to know you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Currently seizing the opportunity to travel around Asia. I would love to meet new people and learn about their experiences. Some people might call me crazy for travelling alone as a girl but I love the sense of adventure and independence. CS has always been an interesting community to me. Even though I am young and inexperienced in this field, from what I've seen and read, this community shares my mentality of courage, adventure and learning.
