About Me
I'm currently in that weird existential crisis "they" say twenty-somethings go through, and I've recently realized the path I have been going down will not bring me happiness. Naturally, I've decided to figure out what will make me happy, and my first step is to travel. As much as I can. I'm interested in making connections with people across the planet and experiencing as much as life will offer me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Besides having a comfortable place to stay while traveling, Couchsurfing appeals to me because it will allow me to make connections with people around the world. I so easily fall in love with places, foods, and people, which traveling certainly facilitates. I want my love of this world and its inhabitants to grow, and I think Couchsurfing will help with that.
Interests
I love to read, hike, garden, eat, listen to music, make crafts, be around animals, listen to people. I hope to one day own a farm and live sustainably with a group of great, like-minded people.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Neutral Milk Hotel, Erland & The Carnival, Starlight Mints, Stornoway, Portishead, The Shins, Modest Mouse, George Harrison, Led Zeppelin, and many many more.
Movies: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Amelie, Candy, Lord of the Rings, The Science of Sleep, Me Without You, Pulp Fiction, and many many more.
Books: The Bell Jar, The Alchemist, Lord of the Rings trilogy, Kitchen Confidential, Pride and Prejudice, and many many more.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiked "Angels Landing" at Zion National Park in Utah, U.S.A. The entire time I was convinced I was going to die, but somehow I made it all the way. Though I was awestruck by the beauty I took in at the top of the trail, the best part of the experience was definitely getting back to the trailhead and promptly jumping into the Virgin River, savoring the fact that I was indeed still alive.
Teach, Learn, Share
I tend to be more of an observer than a teacher, but any knowledge I can offer someone I am more than willing to do so. I'm trying to learn some new skills including the banjo, accordion, beer making, and knitting. I plan on spending the rest of my life learning new things, and I am very much interested in learning any new skills my friends from Couchsurfing might be willing to teach me.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am very respectful and clean, and extremely grateful for hospitality. I am more than happy to help my hosts with cooking and cleaning if needed.
