I am an East Coast transplant and I love it! I was born in California but it sure does seem as though I was always meant to live on the East Coast.

When I was in high school, my mom started using Couchsurfing while we traveled around. It was always a fun experience to meet and explore a new area with help from the locals. I hope to continue traveling this way now that I am on my own.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couchsurfing because I loved meeting locals and getting their viewpoint on things to explore in their very own city. It is a far more personal experience than staying at a hotel, or even an AirBnB.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love the Harry Potter series; I really enjoy period pieces, such as Jane Austen novels, Charlotte Bronte, etc; I listen to all kinds of music, though my radio is most often tuned to either Top 40, a mix station, or Christian radio. I often end up watching HGTV at the end of the day.

As to movies, I love them! I'm not a giant movie buff, as in I have seen all of the recent ones, but I do enjoy a wide variety of movies... basically anything except gorey horror.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to do dishes, so I would gladly share dish duty! I can also share a listening ear. Because I am trained to be a pastor, I am trained to do many things like listen attentively, discuss spiritual pain, rejoice at wonderful experiences.

I can also share my bread making. I love to make bread and would gladly share bread with my hosts.
