I'm living in Austria at the moment, working as an au pair. I've traveled around Europe a bit over the last few years. I haven't really couchsurfed though! A couple times with friends but I feel like I've missed an opportunity to get to know more people.
I'll be coming home to North Carolina in March and I was hoping to find a place in Wilmington to stay for a few weeks while I complete a training program there.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I live with a family in their home, so I unfortunately can't offer a place to stay. I'm on Couchsurfing to find people who I could stay with and maybe get to know a bit. I can tell you stories of places I've been and you can do the same! I love hearing about what different people have loved about a place.

Interests

I'm a relatively new runner and hiker but I love both with a passion. I like to knit on rainy days and read books at night when I'm not too exhausted :P

I listen to all kinds of music. I love most movies except horror, I don't want to pay to be emotionally tortured :) And I love reading books recommended by friends or strangers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In my third year of college, I moved to Germany as an exchange student. I was wildly unprepared, I couldn't speak German, I didn't know anyone there. It was terrifying and there's no question, the best decision I have ever made.
