About Me

Sorry, I'm not accepting guests right now as life has become really crazy and I haven't been able to keep up with all the requests we are getting.

CURRENT MISSION

Get the first tan of my life, see how long I can put off returning to America.

ABOUT ME

I spent 18 years traversing the globe as the child of exceptionally adventurous diplomats, I went to Uni back in the states then left it all behind for Palestine in 2014. It's been an incredibly challenging adjustment, but it was about time I got acquainted with the country I supposedly hail from.
I've just moved to Germany- totally by accident and have fallen in love and settled down. Not part of the plan but I'm enjoying my surprise European life!

PHILOSOPHY

"Do more than belong: participate. Do more than care: help. Do more than believe: practice. Do more than be fair: be kind. Do more than forgive: forget. Do more than dream: work.”

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My fiance (https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/ben-frenchman) and I have an air mattress that sleeps 2 in our one room apartment.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met wonderful people, fast friends and made wonderful memories with my couch surfing friends, it's absolutely one of the most valuable networks in my life. I have mostly participated by meeting up with people around the world but now that I have a home, I can't wait to host more and more. :)

Interests

Art History,Photography, Travel, Feminism.
I also love cooking, off roading in whatever vehicle I have available, hiking, and sitting with strangers in new countries and taking their portraits. I'm always up for a debate, intellectual or political and I can wax poetic about art for way too long.
My fiance and I make music, paint, and write. There is always something creative happening at our house.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing a tiger in the wild, hugging HH the Dalai Lama, staring at the stars in the Himalayas, fishing for piranhas in a dugout canoe in Brasil.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you about art, I can take you through any museum.
If you want to practice your Arabic and can handle my no doubt thick Palestinian accent, that would also be really cool.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Stories from a lifetime of travel, traditional meals from all over the planet, I can get you amazing cheese and show you how to pair it with beer or wine. I can also probably take a good portrait of you.

Countries I’ve Visited

Angola, Austria, Bahrain, Belize, Cabo Verde, Canada, China, Ecuador, France, Germany, Greece, Honduras, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, South Africa, Spain, Sudan, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, Zimbabwe
