HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING - I'd love to meet with people all over the world in their localities and find the odd couch to surf too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE - Having couch surfed in Russia, Singapore, Australia and Indonesia and I'm keen to keep on going with my adventures in this way. Having been on the road for nearly 3 years now I can say with quite some certainty the best times you have travelling are the unplanned, unexpected delights introduced by locals.

Hobbies wise I love to dance, I've been trained how to teach people to salsa dance too which I'm more than happy to share. I'm also qualified in Swedish body massage and I love reading - I'll never be far from my e-reader! I also have a real interest in cookery, I do a lot of baking a home and have a real passion for experimenting with new flavors and ingredients. I would dearly love to be shown how to create cuisines traditional to the countries I'm visiting. I'm pretty nifty with a needle and thread as well as a sewing machine too! I've created a lot of my own clothing as well as home furnishings.

Music wise I have a rather eclectic taste from Jazz to Heavy Metal, Classical to old school Rock & Roll. I'm happy to listen to new sounds and love going to live shows. Books I read a lot of fantasy, sci-fi and action/thriller/detective type books, I like a good horror every now & then too. I adore watching movies & will give anything a go, but a few of my all time favorites have to be The Goonies, The Lord of the Rings triology and The Departed.

The most inspiriational experience in my life was coming up the Musilini highway just after dawn & seeing the Collesum rising up out of the skyline with a beautiful sky behind it & begining to understand the complexity & enormaty of the site and the history behind it.
