About Me
CURRENT MISSION
love, learn, laugh.
ABOUT ME
i'm a student of life; love learning, reading, doing and being. i appreciate real people and building real relationships with the people i meet.
i love being outdoors - beach, mountains, desert, you name it, and love doing outdoor things - camping, hiking, biking, etc.
i'm also a student of yoga. i aim to learn more about sustainability and would like to continue to incorporate those practices into my life.
PHILOSOPHY
my personal philosophy is as of yet undefined, but it has something to do with living a non-violent life, being honest with myself, learning how to live more in the present, and helping others however i can. i am inspired by reading rilke, sobonfu some, jon kabat-zinn, rumi, and marshall rosenberg; i'm especially inspired by meeting people who actually live what those writers voice.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
i've hosted people (through other couchsurfing-type situations) at my house in austin and once while i lived in prague. it was always a really wonderful experience. i love hosting people, showing them around a city i love, and making new friends in the process!
Interests
right now i'm really interested in learning more about gardening and farming and would love to be in involved in building/ working on a school garden in the future.
i also love travel, meeting new people, riding my bike, reading, practicing yoga, meditation. i went to joshua tree (the town and the national park) awhile back and absolutely fell in love with it. i love being in the desert and can't wait to go back.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
i worked in a shelter for spanish-speaking immigrants (single women and their children) in austin and learned so much from the families there.
Teach, Learn, Share
i speak/ read spanish, have lived in/ traveled throughout europe and can share experiences of that, and i practice yoga. i once lived/worked in a yoga community for six months, in case you're interested to know about that! i love sharing knowledge, learning from others, and being open to new experiences.
