ABOUT ME
Some of my friends describe me as the super laid back and easy going girl. Others get to see my more energetic and slightly crazy side. Some find me quiet and thoughtful, and many know me as friendly and funny.
I can wear a lot of different faces depending on my mood, the setting, and those around me. I love a fun night out with friends as well as a quiet night at home. Most of all I love meeting people and finding out how to mesh with them.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
In my short time as a Couchsurfer I have seen how open and giving people can be, not just opening their door to a stranger but sharing thoughts, ideas, food, and adventures. I hope to give back as much as I have received from this wonderful community.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'd say I'm pretty new to Couchsurfing. My first experiences were on a three month trip through South America with my boyfriend. We stayed with a lot of amazing people and were able to see towns along the way the way the locals see them.
One of the most memorable ones was a very brief stay in Ancud, Chile. My boyfriend and I arrived rather late from a hike near the town and were able to meet up with Xavier. We ended talking for hours about the ethos of traveling and our views on the world and sustainability. Even though we had so little time with him, I feel as though we were able to share so much with each other and connect on a deeper level.
Since then I have met so many members of the Couchsurfing community, and each is so open-minded and excited about life.
Interests
I love traveling! Seeing local art around the work. Trekking through the wilderness. Growing and cooking food. Reading good books. Having deep as well as silly conversations. Examining maps, old and new. Listening to good music. Learning about the environment, local and global. Creating art, and learning new mediums. Taking and looking at photos. Snuggling up with ma pup. Just to name a few.
