ABOUT ME

I am a 24 yr old from Australia traveling around Europe for 9 months with my boyfriend. I recently graduated from university and decided that instead of jumping into work and being a grown up I would instead travel around Europe for nine months to see and experience different ways and ideas about living and of course to eat as much amazing food as I possibly can. I managed to convince my boyfriend to join me and he has taken a year off from his engineering degree to travel around Europe with me.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently traveling so I am a surfer at the moment but hoping to host once I finish traveling and have found somewhere to live in Melbourne.

Interests

Cooking and especially eating, reading, playing hockey, learning new games (for example so far on this trip I have learnt how to play backgammon very badly), chatting and bushwalking (hiking).

Music, Movies, and Books

Books - Game of Thrones, 1984, Brave New World, Guns Germs and Steel, Bill Brysons Books, Red Dwarf, The Justice Game, The Third Chimpanzee, Terry Pratchett, Animal Farm, phillipa gregory's books.......just a lot of books.

Movies - depends on my mood sometimes terrible cheesy action movies or romantic comedies, but always galaxy quest, princess bride, star wars (only the original three), the boy in the striped pajamas, ghost busters, Jurassic park, Hotel Rwanda, james bond movies, most movies with Johnny Depp in them, most movies directed by Tim Burton.........

Music - I don't listen to music very often but I do like the red hot chili peppers and the grates, Australian music (Angus and Julia Stone, Little Red, Matt Corby etc), my boyfriend has more interest in music then me he likes the RHCP also and Metallica's old stuff, KISS, Pearl Jam, Hammerfall.........

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being starving walking around in the mountains in rural China and having no food and then being invited to have lunch by the monks at an isolated buddhist monastery.
