ABOUT ME

I have an unfortunate chocolate addiction and an affinity for klutziness unmatched by anyone I have ever encountered...

I live in the midtown crossing area of Omaha, quite close to the Old Market bar scene and many delicious restaurants. There's also places to eat/go out in Blackstone, Benson, Aksarban and Dundee if you're interested.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I couchsurfed (unofficially) around Europe on my semester abroad and loved it!
For as long as I can remember, my family hosted people from other countries during the summer months who were visiting/studying in the US. I grew up in a Virginia suburb of D.C. and I think hosting is a unique way to discover the melting pot of people in your own backyard.

Now I host people, mostly passing thru Omaha for a night. No hard feelings, I know it's not an actual destination for most.

Interests

Chemistry - nerdy I know
Running - because I'm too klutzy to do another sport.
Classical Music - I finally invested in an old upright piano for my house in Omaha.
Travelling - that's why I'm on this site

Music - Swedish House Mafia, The White Panda, Home Free country acapella, Maitre Gims, and the occasional Beach Boys. A little eclectic. A lot of pop.

Movies - Shawshank redemption, It's a Wonderful Life. I'm a sucker for cliches.

Books - Almost anything by Bill Bryson. Born a Crime by Trevor Noah. Most stories about far away places and trips.
