My name Kathi and I'm from Munich. Yes, that's the city with the original Oktoberfest! ;)

I studied Marketing and I used to work in a beautiful cafe as a barista.

I have been travelling for about 4 month now. I started in Thailand and travelled all through South East Asia. Before I came to Taiwan I stayed in hostels but I feel something had been missing because I long to get to know how locals are really like.

I love travelling because it allows me to broaden my perspective of various people, cultures and places. It also provides the opportunity to make new friends, who will hopefully come and visit me one day!

I really enjoy talking with and learning from locals and experience how life is in that particular country. It's just nice to meet new people and make new friends all over the world! I experienced that it makes such a big different if you travel a city and spend some time with interesting local people. For instance it's cool to go to bars and restaurants away from the main tourist streets. :)
