Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I do not want to offer just a couch. When I share my place, I want to get to know my guests. So I hope I have time to show you around or to discover new places wherever I live at the moment.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My couch or air mattress is usually quite frequently used by friends or family. But I also want to use this chance to get to know new people and cultures.

Love small live concerts, rock, avantgarde music, jazz, classic, quite everything depending on the mood.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- A whale coming out just a few meters away from me while I was sitting on the dock of the bay.
- I finally saw a moose in Canada, after not seeing one spending a year in Finland and spending two years in Canada already.
- Cycling, cycling, cycling around Europe, in Mexico, Kenya, Tanzania, Norway, and in China even through a foreigner-forbidden city (almost got arrested), and just now: all around the world
- Mountains are amazing every time you climbed one

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to learn quite everything new but I really would like to know how to play the contrabass.
I could teach skiing, ice skating, climbing, playing the flute, cooking Austrian dishes like Wiener Schnitzel, Apfelstrudel and Kaiserschmarrn, I know something about programming but I am not so interested in teaching this in my spare time :)
