ABOUT ME

I am an Australian. I was travelling happily when I got a temp job that has turned in to a permanent job and my short stay in London has been extended into something I would call on-going.

I am a true Gemini, the communication sign of the zodiac and I do enjoy a good conversation. I am an independent traveler, I enjoy travelling by myself and also with my friends.

I try and push myself out of the comfort zone of the familar and it is always so rewarding to do so. I never really feel alone when I travel there are always other travellers to meet and places to explore.

I play a mean game of table tennis. I love board games, though I am highly competitive and trying to learn to be a better loser :)

I have previously travelled parts of the USA, Canada, Europe and the Uk. I have lived in Copenahgen, Glasgow and London.

The best experiences I have had when traveling was meeting new people and being introduced to places by the people who live there, being about to experience the true culture rather than the fake 'tourist' experience places try and sell you.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that we are responsible for creating meaning in our lives, but that there is something greater than us who helps and guides, that there are no coincidences.

I am excited by this couchsurfing project. It is so great to be able to bring people together who clearly value the experience of travelling, from both sides of the coin.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I adore couchsurfing as it gives me the opportunity to meet interesting people. I have had only a few couch surfing experiences but they have been amazing and I have visited with them multiple times now!

Interests

I love food, all kinds, cooking it, choosing it from a menu, eating it. The whole atmosphere that goes with eating, the sharing of food with others can be so bonding and enjoyable.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love books, and reading. Do it all the time, whenever I can. I read around a book a day on average so I really plow through them.

I love to learn new recipes.

Bring out a board game, play a game of table tennis, go for a walk, watch a movie.
