My husband and I are currently doing a 3 month trip around the United States. We reside in Durham, North Carolina and I am a GED teacher and he is a web developer. I am on a teaching sabbatical and he is writing his first book. We love the outdoors and especially the western part of the country.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We camp in either a tent or our Jeep Liberty most of the time but occasionally we need a place to stay that gives us access to showers, laundry etc. We both really enjoy meeting new people so we thought this would be a good option for us. Music, Movies, and Books

I love books of all kinds but our favorite audiobook is Travels with Charlie by John Steinbeck. The Station Agent is my favorite movie. Classic rock has always been my favorite music but recently I have started to really like country music.
