I was born and raised in Canberra, Australia and until 2016 I'd never been out of the country. Since then I've had some great opportunities to travel to the Cook Islands and the USA and in November of 2017 set off for a year in Europe, the UK and North America. I've taken part in a lot of varied activities through my life, and enjoyed almost every one. I don't drink alcohol, as I've hated every type that family and friends got me to try, but I love going out and dancing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First looked into it as a cheaper accommodation option for a year long trip through Europe and North America and got hooked on the idea of getting a locals perspective on a place and sharing stories from all over the world. Hosting is not something I'm capable of at the moment but look forward to it once I am able.

Music, Movies, and Books

All sorts. As long as there's a good story I'll be pretty happy. Particularly attached to fantasy, historical and romances.
I've often found that people are astounded by how little I advertise my tastes in music, but I always prefer to sit back and hear what is around then go listen to my favourites when I'm alone.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Two of my proudest achievements are creating a set for the year 12 fashion show at college and designing and making costumes for a local youth circus show the year after that.
