I'm basically a 26-year-old hobbit with lots of stories to tell and an extroverted personality. I'm also a Hufflepuff, a full-time graduate student, and a recreational climber. My significant other (Eric) and I travel a bit, and we've seen a lot together.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here to meet people! I haven't seen much of our little blue planet, and I'd like to fix that. Sharing stories with travelers and learning more about our world through the eyes of others is important to me.

Interests

I spend a lot of my time reading (because school) and listening to music. When I'm not doing that, I'm often writing, climbing, drinking coffee, doing yoga, working on handstands, or sleeping. Eric loves baking, playing with gadgets and video games, and drinking local/craft beer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Free-solo climbing the 2nd Flatiron was absolutely one of the best experiences of my life, and I can't wait to do it again!

Writing is ubiquitous--you had to write about yourself when you made an account on this site. We all have to write to communicate, whether we're commenting on our own Instagram photos, answering emails, or writing letters to loved ones. My passion is helping people write in easier, more effective, and sometimes more efficient ways.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Eric and I are always looking for ways to help make our hosts' and guests' lives easier. We have shared homemade cookie dough and our favorite local beers, and we also don't mind helping with cleaning and cooking tasks! We both have loads of stories to tell, tips for traveling, and a love for animals, books, children, gardens, hearing other people's stories, and leaving as little trace as possible.
