Hello! My name is Katy, I was living in Cordoba, Spain, but now I've moved back to the states and am living in Fort Collins, CO. I'm was in Spain as an "Auxiliar de Conversacion en Ingles" through the Spanish government. I'm learning Spanish, and have been studying intensively for the last 2-3 years.

Before that, I lived in Chicago and worked at a university for a few years. I wish I would have known about Couchsurfing back then, or I would have listed my couch/apartment! I'm definitely planning on it one day.

I'm a huge fan of comedy, so I watch a lot of series and movies. I also used to frequent stand-up comedy and live music shows back when I lived in Chicago.

I received my Swiftwater Certification to be a river guide in Talkeetna, Alaska in the summer of 2014.

I have had many "intercambios," or language exchanges since living in Spain, so I'm willing to do something of that sort. I'm currently working on getting my TEFL certificate
