About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Host some amazing and independent couchsurfers looking for a mellow place to stay in the beautiful northern California.
ABOUT ME
My friends would say that I am very artistic, polite, organized and clean, loves animals, and fun. My family, knowing me the best and longest would without a doubt explain me as funny, weird, intelligent, kind-hearted and a determined young woman.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Pay it forward. Travelling is so important and expenses should never be the reason to hold anyone back. Also staying with locals is one of the best ways of learning more about the place you're visiting.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've hosted several people and have surfed all over the world.
Interests
I have been an artist since I was a child, mostly painting and drawing. Being an art history major and an artist myself I see situations from a creative and out-of-the-box manner. I jump at engaging and adventurous opportunities and am not intimidated by spontaneity. I spend my time reading, enjoying the outdoors, getting friends together, attending art exhibitions, lectures and open studios, and most importantly attending concerts, festivals, small gigs and even the occasional karaoke bar.

Music, Movies, and Books
Musically I'm into heavy metal, American rock and roll from the 60's and 70's and blues. The books I find myself most interested in are science fiction, the Edgar Rice Burroughs Barsoom series, and period fictional novels such as the Diana Gabaldon Outlander series. My favorite books are The Life of Pi by Yann Martel and The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand. I'm a big horror and thriller movie fan but also dig war movies like Apocalypse Now, Platoon and Full Metal Jacket.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Celebrating my 25th birthday by enjoying a bottle of sparkling wine in Praque, sitting in a outdoor cafe right in the old town square. Watching the astro clock made it's beautiful routine over and over while seeing tourists experience it for the fist time over and over. Stood still in time for a bit as I celebrated my quarter century.
Horseback riding around Bryce Canyon and hiking through the Zion Canyon narrows in, Utah, CA. I also drove across the U.S.and camped my way to family in New York from California a few years ago. My canyon trip to The Grand Canyon,Bruce and Zion Canyons left me speechless on so many occasions that my family and I often spent hours riding and hiking silent; admiring the views were overwhelming.
Another awe-inspiring moment was visiting New York city. We were lucky enough to book a hotel right in Times Square, right in the middle of it all. That city is intimidating and absorbing with it's fast pace and endless hustle but warm and exciting with it's history and passionate locals.
Visiting old graveyards all over Europe, the Olsany graveyard in Prague was the best! The haunted tombs in New Orleans are my most recent cemetary visit and I would highly recommend experiencing their beauty.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know a lot about art and music. I'm from California so I can get a bit hippie dippie about art but if your down for an emotional or technical conversation that can rearrange, change or expand your thoughts about art, I'm here for you.
