Hi! My name is Kathleen, and I'm currently living and working in Philadelphia as a Video Producer. I started traveling at 21 when I first studied abroad in London. Ever since then traveling has turned into a passion of mine and I have been to over 14 countries. In addition to traveling, I love to cook, practice yoga and pick up the guitar every now and then.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I want to take another leap outside of my comfort zone and well, during my recent travels to Belgium, I met a Danish police officer who is a Couchsurfing host and he had nothing but good things to say about it! So here I am! I signed up in 2013, but decided to take the leap this summer and actually try it.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love alternative-indie and alternative-r&b music. I love rock from the 90s and 2000s and the classic "Emo" music from my high school days.

Right now I am on a self-improvement book kick. I just read the Power of Moments, which was pretty "powerful" you could say.

I love thriller and sci-fi movies. The Shape of Water has been one of my favorites I've seen in a very long time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

was getting one of my good friends Norman to Rome, Italy for his 67th birthday. It was also my thesis for my master's degree in Mass Communications from South Dakota State University.
