About Me
ABOUT ME
Life is a joy and I love spending time with people who also love the beauty of everyday life. I enjoy extravagant tea parties, days spent in and out of the ocean, taking trips to new and interesting places.
I love my work, teaching kids about science (which often involves blowing things up..:) as I travel through the state. Most of all I love meeting people from all sorts of places who are keen to understand more about the world around us.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe life is an extraordinary gift from God and I try to live it to the full. Treasure the small moments in life, because it is often those moments that you look back on with the fondest memories. Wear extravagant clothes and have a tea party in the park just because. Jump off a cliff into the ocean to face your fear. Take a stroll through the streets playing an instrument to whoever walks by.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have both hosted and surfed for the past few years which has been incredible. It is amazing when you are not travelling to share your city with travellers, giving you new eyes for your surroundings. Then it is wonderful to be welcomed into someone else's house and learn about them and their home. This exchange of hospitality and culture is what has made my experience couchsurfing so incredible.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
It has been a few years since I first discovered couchsurfing. After spending weeks unofficially surfing my friends couch and meeting all of her couch surfers I gained a very different view of the world and friendship being exposed to the unique community of couchsurfing.
The people I met became like a little family, so friendly and with so much to share.
Throughout the last few years life has been filled with many different people from across the planet who one way or another have spent time on my couch/floor/loft and beautiful friendships have formed.
